		<description>The very wonderful (ahem) Maggie Thatcher provided considerable incentives to the cable TV industry to build out a new infrastructure. This has happened with almost all previous infrastructures in most Western societies as well. So why do we balk against doing the same thing for Fibre. Especially when the hard work of digging up the roads has now been done.

It still puzzles me that BT is required to resell whole sale bandwidth and provide LLU when the cable companies (or is that company) are not. The same thing has happened with water, gas and electricity with artificial competition created over a single last mile infrastructure. So why is cable immune?</description>
